Bangtan Sonyeondan ( Korean for Bulletproof Boyscouts ) is a South korean Boy Band comprising of seven members, formed by Bighit Entertainment, which debuted on June 13, 2013.

BTS have a large international fanbase which helped them perform across venues in Asia, South and North America, Australia and Europe. Their most popular Album series The Most Beautiful Moment in Life trilogy broke records in the history of Kpop, debuting in the Billboards and staying around for multiple weeks.

BTS are known for their large social media presence, and were named by Forbes as the most retweeted artist on Twitter in March 2016. Following that, Twitter launched its first ever K-Pop Twitter emoji featuring BTS.
